Hi! I'm Laya, a Fertility Coach.
I am a fertility coach who specializes in the mental & emotional aspects of fertility with the use of Hypnotherapy, Qigong Meditation Instruction, and tools collected in over 20 years of Healing training. I call this unique form of fertility coaching the Whole Fertility Program, which helps women navigate the path toward motherhood through natural conception, assisted reproductive technology like IVF, surrogacy, or adoption. My education and personal experience enable me to be an empathetic cheerleader in your corner, helping you harvest the power of your mind, emotions & energy field to create the baby of your dreams.

My Journey
My passion for healing arts and fertility came to life over 20 years ago and further developed during my own fertility struggles. I was older when I was ready to start a family; therefore, doctors labeled me with "geriatric" pregnancies because I was over 35 years old.
I suffered two miscarriages before I birthed my two daughters when I was 37 and 40 years old. My second miscarriage was traumatic, requiring two separate rounds of abortion medications. I finally needed a Dilation and Curettage (D&C) abortion procedure to remove all the remains. I was in physical and emotional despair while miscarrying for three entire weeks due to this course of medical treatment.
The weekend after my D&C, I was scheduled to attend a Mind-Body Fertility Connection® Hypnosis training. Initially, I felt too sad, fragile, and vulnerable to attend, but I forced myself to go, and it changed my life.
During the training, I could heal what I originally viewed as a cut-up, scarred uterus and say goodbye to the Soul that once occupied my body. I got pregnant the very next month! I gave birth to my first daughter less than a year later.
My education and personal experience have enabled me to be an empathetic cheerleader in your corner, supporting you to nourish your body, mind, and emotions to be fortified for this voyage of a lifetime.
I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Qigong Instructor specializing in fertility and embodiment. I am a Mind-Body Fertility Connection® Practitioner and a Qigong Healing Touch Practitioner with over 20 years of Qigong and Tai Chi training and nine years of Hypnotherapy practice. I am registered as a non-licensed psychotherapist in the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs. I have taught classes in Internal Alchemy Qigong and meditation at the People's House in Denver. I have a private Fertility Coaching practice where I specialize in facilitating the process of fertility and embodiment through meditation, hypnotherapy, and Qigong therapy. I am a wife, mother, and friend. I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, scuba diving, mosaics, dancing, and martial arts.
My "Why"
My “why” began long before Whole Fertility. In college, I planned to become a medical doctor, but I felt a deep knowing that true healing required more than medication and procedures. I believed the body was a source of wisdom and that health, embodiment, and prevention were just as essential as physical treatment.
I was born with a condition that caused significant misalignments in my body and carried early childhood trauma that left me disconnected from certain parts of myself. When I moved to Boulder, I dedicated myself to a healing journey, mapping the areas where I felt sensation and the places where I felt none.
In 2002, while standing on a rock and trying to bring energy into a numb area of my body, I suddenly remembered the 5000-year-old ancient martial arts tradition of Qigong, which focuses on the body’s energy anatomy. That moment redirected my life path, and I have now studied Qigong for more than 20 years.
My interest in fertility arose later, when I noticed how many people around me were disconnected from their bodies, their creative centers, and the realities of fertility. I became fascinated by fertility not only as the ability to have a child, but as a broader expression of creation, embodiment, and personal transformation.
Today, my work centers on helping women reconnect with their bodies, open their creative centers, listen to inner sensations, cultivate emotional resilience, and quiet the self-critical voice. Fertility, whether it is the creation of life, purpose, or art, requires presence, energy, and internal alignment.
Whole Fertility grew from this calling. I developed a unique program that uncovers mental and emotional blocks, strengthens the mind–body connection, and supports women through natural conception, unexplained infertility, secondary infertility, and assisted reproductive pathways.
I feel this work is my God Mission, and I am deeply devoted to every woman I serve.
